The Appeal to Kolmogorov is a meme shape that goes like this:
A black woman invented the telescope. You might disagree. You might even have some evidence to the contrary. But you have to ask yourself: is this really worth losing my job over? A black woman invented the telescope.
The first incidence I know of it is that tweet but like any other meme template it is snowcloned repeatedly. I call it that because it bears a similarity to Scott Aaronson's The Kolmogorov Option.
