Recently, I hit a new peak in my weight because I haven't been paying too much attention. After gorging myself in India and then again on my birthday, I reached the massive heights of 199.8 lbs as read on my bathroom scale. This sort of thing is pretty risky and I'm entering into Tirzepatide territory so I thought I should do something drastic.

Now, a classic drastic fad diet is One Meal A Day, and that sort of reminds me of this festival the mum's side of my family has called Ramzan where you fast the whole day except for a meal before sunrise and one after.

In my case, since I needed to lose some weight, I decided to cut that down to One Meal A Day after Sunset, and the week I was going to do it was to be called Romadan.

Well, I did it. Adherence was pretty good. I'd have a coffee during the day, or a Coke Zero, but no food until 6 PM (a half an hour or so after Sunset) and for the short period here are the results:

Date Weight (lbs)
Feb 2 194.3
Feb 1 195.4
Jan 31 196.2
Jan 30 195.0
Jan 29 195.8
Jan 28 196.7
Jan 27 197.5
Jan 26 199.8

So far so good. The 199.8 and 197.5 are evening measurements but the rest are during the day. To be honest, if I'd stuck to the intensity of that day I might have seen more results since I rode 12 miles on the empty stomach and a cup of coffee and then managed to lift that day and the next.

My target for the year is to end at my old 175 lbs, though, so I have a long way to go. 20 lbs will be hard to lose
