Passenger On-Time Metric Overview
POT (Passenger On-Time):
Percentage of passengers that arrive to their destination station within 5 minutes of scheduled arrival time at that destination.
For a passenger trip to be on time, the difference between actual and scheduled door open time at the destination is measured in seconds and is on time if it is less than 300 seconds.
It is calculated daily through computer algorithms, at the passenger level and aggregated. For example, 76% of passengers are on time or 76% of passengers arrive within 5 minutes (300 seconds) of their scheduled door open.
